See us in Featured Families! Ultrasounds did not detect the clefts in our twins; we were very shocked when they were born. Olivia, bilateral cleft lip and palate, had her lip repair on 1/17/03 and is scheduled for a bone graft/palate surgery this spring and summer. Landon has a microcleft and is scheduled for lip repair on 3/21/03. They are both incredibly happy and healthy babies!

Surgery to correct Olivia Rose's bilateral cleft palate will be performed anywhere from 9 months to a year. Olivia Rose is very content most of the time. She has
a hard time eating with a spoon, so I stick the fruits and cereal in her Pigeon bottle. Olivia and I just returned from Arizona from visiting Olivia's big sister and I'm not sure if the elevation has affected her hearing.

Oliver was born on August 14, 2004 with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. We found out about his cleft when I had my five-month ultrasound. He is scheduled to have his lip repaired by Dr. Bournman on December 14, 2004 at East Grinstead Hospital. I will keep you all updated on how it goes (fingers crossed).
